Yeah Yeah Yeahsare a New York City-based alternative rockband made up of singer Karen O, drummer Brian Chaseand guitarist Nick Zinner. Their music is a mix of retrostyles with heavy rockand punkguitars, synthetic sounds, and screaming, erotic, bluesy vocals, and extremely sexual and creative costumes designed by Christian Joy. They were formed in the late summer of 2000. They have recorded three studio albums, Fever to Tell, their more recent album Show Your Bones, and the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs" or "Master" EP. Nick Zinner also plays in Head Wound City, a thrash metal supergroup with members of the Blood Brothers and The Locust, and has toured with Bright Eyesfor their album, Digital Ash In A Digital Urn, also Brian Chase has an active side project in his improvisational band, The Seconds.
